CLASS DESCRIPTION
Rally 4 Rescue trainers are broke into two divisions. Novice and Expert. In the event there are not
two or more trainers in a division they may be combined at the discretion of the judges and judges
will take it into consideration when doing their scoring.
Rally 4 Rescues trainers will be completing in two classes as a part of their competition.
The main goal for the horses each trainer has taken on is to teach them confidence and basic
abilities every horse should know which will make them a more rounded horse for whatever the future holds for them.
Trail Class:
We don't call it a trail challenge because we feel all horses should know these basic
in hand or under saddle maneuvers which will make for a well rounded partner in the future.
The Rally 4 Rescues course will consist of the following maneuvers for a total of 125 points:
Trainers will compete in hand or under saddle.
Load & Unload Tie, Fly Spray & Pick Feet
Tack Up & Mount Ground Poles
Vine Pass through Mailbox pickup
Water Crossing Mailbox
Bridge Crossing Serpentine
Back Through Side Pass
Gate Drag
With one or two surprises along the way.
All trainers will receive a copy of what each maneuver will consist of before the event so there
will be no drastic surprises the day of the event. many of these horses are already outside of their
comfort zones just competing in an indoor venue and we don't wish to add any extra, undo stress on them.
Freestyle: In this class trainers will have the opportunity to showcase their horses in a 3 minute
demonstration performed to music they have especially picked for this class. They may show off special
talents a horse has that wasn't exhibited in the first class. This could consist of their jumping abilities or
maybe some silly horse trick skills. It might just be performing one on one with the music to show balance
and the willingness of the horse they are showcasing. We leave it up to the trainers imagination to just have
fun using a little bit of creativity and togetherness with their horse.
